•  What is the function of PTW (permit to work)?
• It is the written permission from the operation team for a specific area & for a specific time to perform work & to ensure that hazards are identified & all safety precautions have been taken
• When is hot work permit required?
•  When any work can create sparks or ignition (e.g. welding, cutting, grinding, etc.) to make a fire then hot work permit is required to make sure that all safety control measures have been taken
